| Karen Schmidt has been working professionally in the graphic design industry for over 20 years. She is a seasoned designer with a thorough understanding of the production processes for a wide range of media.
From her studio in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia, Karen creates print, display, and web graphics. In her work, she combines a strong technical foundation in traditional prepress, electronic production, and design with her background as a painter. Karen is an avid knitter whose designs are published in Debbie Stoller's highly successful book, Stitch 'n Bitch. She is also an accordionist who performs with the Big Mess Orchestra.
